Allegreto Music Program
Volunteers will be teaching students at public schools from 1st to 6th grade how to play the piano, guitar, and violin. Students will learn basic music theory and play different pieces and songs. They will show evidence of their learning through two recitals, one in December and one in June.
Responsibilities
- Give classes at a public school on a weekly basis
- Track the students’ progress
- Bring the necessary materials to class
- Organize the recital(s)
Requirements
- Attend all classes (1 or 2 weekly depending on your frequency)
- Attend meetings on Thursday lunch once every two weeks
- Have basic knowledge of the piano/guitar/violin and music notes/figures

Weekdays Afterschool: Monday - Friday 3:00pm until 5:30pm
Saturday Morning: 10:00am to 1:00pm Duration: 1 hr to 2 hrs
