Art Classes
The art program is to introduce kids to various media: Pencils, Colored Pencil, Watercolor, Acrylic, Stained Glass and Pottery. The majority of classes will have:
a setup, a lesson explanation of 5 minutes, a 15 minutes demonstration of the day’s activity, 45-55 minutes for students to work, 5-10 minute clean-up.
Responsibilities
- Answer students doubts
- Assist them when needed
- Attend every assigned class
- Help maintain materials organized
- Help set up classroom
- Help hand out materials
- Help with clean-up
- Support with fundraising
Requirements
- Attend all classes (1 or 2 depending on your frequency)
- Basic art experience
- Has taken art classes

Classes will take place in any of the following (based on students and volunteer availability):
Weekdays Afterschool: Monday - Friday 3:00pm until 5:30pm
Saturday Morning: 10:00am to 1:00pm Duration: 1 hr to 2 hrs
